DIG Reviews Public Grievances at Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas in Gonda, Calls for Swift and Transparent Redressal

Gonda: Deputy Inspector General of Police, Devipatan Range, Ashok Kumar, heard public grievances and reviewed complaint redressal mechanisms during the Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas held at the Karnailganj Tehsil Auditorium in Gonda on Saturday.

The programme was organized in accordance with the directives of the Uttar Pradesh Government aimed at ensuring prompt resolution of public grievances through coordinated action by administrative and police authorities.

During the event, DIG Ashok Kumar carefully listened to complaints and issues raised by citizens and directed concerned revenue and police officials to ensure their timely and effective resolution. He instructed officers to conduct on-site verification wherever necessary and work towards the disposal of complaints in a fair, transparent, and result-oriented manner.

Addressing officials present at the programme, the DIG emphasized that public grievance redressal remains one of the government’s top priorities and that every complaint must be dealt with seriously. He directed officers to ensure that all petitions received during the event are examined thoroughly and resolved within the prescribed timeframe.

“Transparency, impartiality, and sensitivity must be maintained while handling public grievances. Every complaint should receive quality and timely redressal, and no negligence or laxity at any level will be tolerated,” he said.

Officials were also briefed on the Uttar Pradesh Government’s guidelines regarding the conduct of Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas. Instructions were issued to ensure prompt inquiry, necessary action, and effective disposal of applications received from citizens.

The event served as a platform for direct interaction between the administration and the public, enabling residents to present their concerns before senior officials and seek speedy solutions to their problems.

District Magistrate Priyanka Niranjan, Superintendent of Police Vineet Jaiswal, along with officers and staff from the revenue, police, and other departments, were present during the programme.

The administration reiterated its commitment to strengthening public service delivery and ensuring that citizens receive timely and satisfactory resolution of their grievances through coordinated efforts of all departments.
